Meet Kortney in Charleston
I am an adventurous and energetic mom of two who is also a 5th grade teacher. My students and husband would say I'm a bit silly at times, but what is life without a good laugh?! I describe my style as Natural and Vibrant which captures the essence of life's spirited moments, unposed and bursting with genuine emotion. It's like stepping into a warm hug, a visual celebration of life's unscripted moments.

Favourite Place to Shoot: Washington Square, because it has so many Charleston favorites including: cobblestone walkways, iron fences, colorful buildings and doorways, and cool artifacts from history.
Three Things
- I am a 5th grade teacher by day and photographer by night! My love for children bleeds into my photography as I have a knack for helping them feel comfortable, safe, and most importantly, silly.
- One thing I can't live without is guacamole and chips. Or queso and chips. Or really any dip with chips.
- My friends tell me I am more fun than bubble wrap! Another fun fact is I can hold a handstand for a very long time - and I'm always willing to show it off 🤸♂️

Kortney was amazing! As my son told me as we left Miss Kortney was fun and pretty! She was able to capture so candid photos as well as posed that look amazing! Even with my youngest son not wanting to pose and smile. She still capture some and was so fun to work with!
