My photography style is relaxed, casual, and natural. I love capturing the "in-between" moments after everyone thinks we've gotten the shot. I specialize in lifestyle and documentary photography, but I do see the value of a posed photo too. The greatest compliment I've ever received was when a client said their photos would be "lifelong treasures" - I aim to provide this feeling during all of my sessions.

    Favourite Place to Shoot: I love all of the Cape Cod towns, but Provincetown has a special place in my heart - amazing beaches and the cutest shops!

Three Things

  1. I love to explore the Cape - trying out new restaurants and wine bars and taking our little boat out into Popponesset Bay. I also love playing with my 12-year-old Pug and 3-year-old Chocolate Lab.
  2. I couldn't live without my iPhone, as much as I hate to admit it!
  3. My friends tell me that I am a true Gemini - I have a side of me that is quiet and reserved and also a side that is definitely more outgoing!

More Information

From June - September, due to distances and increased summer traffic, Cathie requires a shoot length minimum for some towns on the Island. Please inquire for details.

Cathie requires additional travel fees on the following routes:

Chatham: 40 USD

Provincetown: 50 USD

Cathie did a great job for us and was especially patient with squirming toddlers. The pictures she took came out beautifully. She was prompt, delivery was also fast and she suggested lots of nice poses and groupings.

Cathie was amazing to work with. She showed up even earlier than anticipated - which was so nice. She made sure we had the right lighting/angle and that we were on the same page for the proposal! She was a pleasure to have around for this moment and she did such a great job of getting some really great/authentic pictures while never being in the way. She agreed to come with us to a second location (the beach) to take additional photos and suggested some really great shots. We loved how everything turned out, would absolutely recommend Cathie for any photos needed on the Cape!

Cathie was fabulous!!! We loved the photos she took!!! And she was great to work with. She was very responsive, worked with our schedule and worked so well with our family group of 10, which included 2 babies and a very active 3 year old! I would highly recommend her for your next photo shoot!!
