Meet Tracy in Banff

I am a professionally trained photojournalist who has made the hidden corners of Southern Alberta my studio. As a born and raised Albertan (yes, I am a unicorn!), I have grown up with the Rockies as my backyard, while exploring the sites and sounds of urban life in Calgary. I love to wander the path on Crescent Heights overlooking downtown Calgary with my clients just as much as I love wandering the shores of Lake Minnewanka in Banff. My sessions become a lovely blend of photography and tourism as I love to share my knowledge of the area with my clients while delivering a relaxed and enjoyable photography experience.

Three Things

  1. When not taking photos, you can find me cheering at my nephew's hockey game, taking my niece horseback riding through the foothills, or outside exploring this incredible province with my Golden Retriever, Emma.
  2. If Starbucks ever takes away it's London Fog (try it with light water), I'd be such a sad girl!
  3. If I had to, I could evacuate an aircraft speaking two languages! I have spent over a decade now working in Canadian commercial aviation.

Tracy is a real pro! Our family had an absolute blast during our shoot. Tracy shepherded us around the park to assure that our photos were taken with beautiful backgrounds. She also made sure that we all looked our best- cueing us to take off gloves, zip pockets closed, apply more lipstick, etc. It was a wonderful experience, and proof of Tracy's professionalism shows in the photos.
