Hi! I’m Martina, a photographer based in Bologna with a background in cinema and storytelling. My style is cinematic and natural: I gently guide you with simple prompts so you never feel awkward or stiff. Many of my clients say they feel relaxed within minutes, even if they’ve never done a photoshoot before. As a local, I know the best light, quiet corners, and hidden streets that make Bologna feel magical in your photos.

    Favourite Place to Shoot: San Luca Sanctuary. I love this area because it offers breathtaking views over Bologna while still feeling peaceful and intimate. The combination of historic architecture, soft light, and quiet corners makes it perfect for natural, emotional photos, especially during golden hour.

Three Things

  1. I love capturing the small, real moments that people don’t always notice: the laughter between shots, the way someone looks at their partner, the quiet in-between moments. My background in cinema taught me to see stories everywhere, and photography allows me to turn those fleeting moments into memories people can keep forever.
  2. A photoshoot with me feels relaxed and natural, almost like a walk with a friend who happens to have a camera. I guide you with simple actions instead of stiff poses, so you can focus on enjoying the moment rather than worrying about how you look. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, confident, and truly present because that’s when the most beautiful images happen.
  3. I always recommend slowing down and experiencing Bologna on foot, wandering under the porticoes, getting lost in the historic center, and stopping for a gelato or espresso along the way. Some of my favourite moments happen around Piazza Maggiore, the Archiginnasio, and the quieter side streets nearby, where the city feels both iconic and intimate at the same time.
