Some of my favorite photographs are not the perfectly posed ones, but the real moments in between—the laughter, the hugs, the way people look at each other when they forget there's a camera around. That's what I love capturing. I've spent years photographing couples and families in Barcelona, and I believe the best photos come when you're simply enjoying the experience together. My goal is for your session to feel like a lovely walk through the city with beautiful memories to take home.

    Favourite Place to Shoot: The picturesque Gothic Quarter, with its charming narrow streets and historic architecture. I also adore capturing the vibrant atmosphere of El Born, as well as the serene beauty of Ciutadella Park. Additionally, the iconic Sagrada Familia never fails to inspire breathtaking shots. In essence, I have a deep appreciation for the entirety of Barcelona's city center as a rich and diverse backdrop - I love it all!

Three Things

  1. If you're visiting Barcelona for the first time, I always recommend starting with the Sagrada Família. Seeing it in person is unforgettable, and then wandering through the Gothic Quarter, El Born, and along the beach lets you experience the city's incredible mix of history, architecture, and Mediterranean lifestyle.
  2. One of my favorite places is Can Fisher by Bogatell Beach. It serves delicious Mediterranean cuisine, fresh seafood, and one of the best paellas in the city. The relaxed beachfront atmosphere makes it perfect after a day of exploring Barcelona.
  3. Wake up early at least once and experience Barcelona before the crowds. Whether it's watching the sunrise over the Mediterranean, strolling through the quiet Gothic Quarter, or enjoying a coffee in a peaceful plaza, you'll see a completely different side of the city—and it's also the best time for beautiful, crowd-free photos.

Olya took some absolutely beautiful pictures for our family on our summer trip to Barcelona. I was a little nervous about taking photos like this when my kids were still dealing with some jet lag, but Olya immediately put everyone at ease and worked so well with my little ones (5 and 7). We have pictures that will take us back to that special week and that we will treasure forever! I can't wait to get some of these framed and on our walls at home. Thank you, Olya, for doing such a wonderful job. We'd highly recommend her work to anyone who wants professional pictures in such a beautiful location without any stress!

These photos are absolutely stunning! Thank you Olya, for your guidance, expertise and patience. We were a large group in the sweltering heat. We were a tough, distracted group. Olya was patient, kind, and a consummate professional. She chose our settings, suggested poses, and knew when/where to take the pictures based on the lighting. I can’t say enough about Olya.
