Meet Spyros in Athens

I consider myself a visual storyteller, and so I always emphasize the story unfolding around me. The word photography in Greek means writing the light and the process of photographing drives me to communicate with people and my surroundings through a constant process of creativity and authentic expression. Capturing the interactions of people as well as the emotions they share with each other in photographs, undoubtedly inspires me as an artist.

Three Things

  1. Undoubtedly, the main attraction of the whole city is the Acropolis, so neighborhoods like Anafiotika, Plaka & Thissio that are clustered around the sacred rock are quaint, historical, and a joy to explore.
  2. My favorite restaurant in Athens is not even a restaurant, but all the small corners with street food that will make your taste buds dance! Just walk around the Athenian streets and get lost while trying pita souvlaki, traditional pastry pies, bougoutsa, koulouri, and loukoumades.
  3. Although Athens is a historical city with timeless monuments and museums, a walk in the National Garden, a welcoming green oasis of rare flora and fauna, right next to the Greek Parliament, will give you some time to catch your breath from sightseeing and slow down.

Spyros was a wonderful to work with! His communication was clear and helpful with regards to what to expect before and how to locate him once on Santorini. He worked well with our group of 11 and provided a variety of photos that we are so happy with! We cannot recommend Spyros enough!
