Meet Stephanie in Albuquerque

I think it's safe to say my people would describe me as a bright and energetic person. I can make a friend anywhere I go and I love to be busy spending time outdoors, exploring new areas in town, and visiting with friends and family. I consider my photography style to be very authentic. When I work with my clients, I always strive to make them comfortable in front of the camera by just talking and getting to know them. That's the most important thing to me! I try to encourage natural movements that allow me to capture real moments. I love a slightly punchy contrast, with softened tones in my editing.

Three Things

  1. I have been lucky to have been able to work as a photographer in my career thus far, but I did have interest in becoming an interior designer when I was younger. It's a side passion of mine that I hope to one day incorporate into opening a venue space of my own.
  2. When I am not taking photos I enjoy hiking, camping, roller skating, making macrame, and relaxing with my partner and our kitten and dog.
  3. I really enjoy roller skating - I picked it up during the pandemic thinking I'd like to try roller derby someday. I'm proud to say I started playing roller derby at the beginning of 2022 with the San Marcos River Rollers and skated two seasons with them before my move to New Mexico. I plan to try out for a local team in ABQ soon!
