Travel Story

My husband and I recently decided we wanted to cross all 50 states off our bucket list and Georgia was one of the many states neither one of us have been to, I did some research on the best town to visit and Savannah was high on the list. After doing hours of research I discovered Savannah is packed full of history and close to a beach. Say no more, it was a win win for us. Flights were booked that night. Once we got down to Savannah, I was in awe of the beauty. Every single corner is full of character, southern charm and Spanish moss! The downtown area is also extremely dog friendly! My animal loving soul was loving every second of it, I've never been to a city that caters to dogs as much as Savannah, it was amazing. Pretty sure we saw more dogs than people. Talk about Heaven.

Travel Tips

We cannot say enough wonderful things about The Olde Pink House. This restaurant was extremely romanic with a candlelit dinner, the fireplace was crackling, lights were dimmed and everything about the atmosphere really set the mood. Then we got our food and oh my goodness, my mouth is watering thinking about how fabulous our meals and drinks were. I have truly never had such a great dining experience. Once we were done eating the staff encouraged us to wander the 16,000 sq ft building so we could look at the history in each room... for the history guru like myself, that was the icing on the cake. So neat!!
