Travel Story
We love to travel and visit places we'd never been before. Eating our way through the city, walking its streets and discovering hidden gems along the way. Since having children we continue to travel and are hoping to instill the same love of discovering new places in them as we do. Savannah is extremely family friendly. We felt like we kept bumping into playgrounds every turn we took! Chasing the girls around the playground in Forsyth Park will be a morning to remember.
Travel Tips
The Collins Quarter is worth the wait. The food is delicious, the vibe is fun, and the corner it sits on has plenty of shopping to poke in and out of while waiting for your table... or a square across the way for the kids to run around in! Backup tip: there is a second location in Forsyth Park that has live music and seemed to have less of a wait time. Walking the Riverfront, strolling (or chasing children) through Forsyth Park, and taking in the holiday festivities at City Market are must-dos.
