Travel Story
We both love travel, in fact we had a travel themed wedding! For our honeymoon we knew we both wanted to go somewhere we both had never been. Somewhere with adventure and history. We had always talked about going to see Italy and promised that when we did, we would do it big and see it all. When thinking about where to go on our honeymoon, we thought what could be better than two weeks traveling around Italy?? We started in Rome, then traveled down to Naples to see Pompeii and Mt.Vesuvius, then Sorrento and Capri and finally Venice and Florence. It was a beautiful two weeks of wine, cheese, pasta, and so much Amore! Our favorite memory was probably a tie between visiting the Castle Saint Angelo at sunset in Rome, taking sunrise pictures at the Trevi and then having sunset cocktails in the Mediterranean Sea overlooking mt. Vesuvius.
Travel Tips
In Roma, I highly recommend going to taverna Trilussa in the Trilussa section of Rome. The pasta is all freshly made and to die for. Also I highly recommend going to Castle Saint Angelo for happy hour and watching the sun set over The Vatican. In Sorrento I absolutely recommend staying at the hotel parco de principe it is a work of art and sits over a cliff that over looks the Amalfi coast and Mt. Vesuvius.
