Travel Story

My husband and I had never been to Old Quebec before, but from the pictures we had seen it looked like a beautiful and charming city. The history and architecture confirmed this was the perfect location for a fun and romantic week away. We love traveling in the “off season” so we can see the area with a little more of a local vibe. Quebec did not disappoint! Walking down the Petit Champlain during a sudden snow storm with no one else around will forever be one of our favorite memories. This trip was incredible, and everyone should visit this magical city!

Travel Tips

Café La Maison Smith was a fantastic cafe with great lattes and huge cinnamon buns! We also ate at Cochon Dingue, which ended up being one of the best dinners we had all week! We highly recommend taking a walking tour of the city, as it allows you to not only learn some history but gain bearings of the area. Also- take the Lévis ferry across the water for one of the best views of the old city (this is super cheap).
