Travel Story
Visiting Italy had always been a dream of mine, so when it came time to pick our honeymoon destination - the choice was easy. We decided to spend our entire trip in Positano because of the beautifully dramatic and colorful cliffside. The steep steps and small restaurants offered a cozy romantic atmosphere that made settling in very easy. We decided to do a Flytographer shoot because we weren't too happy with our professional wedding photos, and we also wanted to document our dream honeymoon. We booked our shoot for our second day in Positano, which was such a smart decision because our photographers took us all around the area, to places we did not realize were there. We were able to visit these spots again on our trip. Positano is in a great location which makes it easy to take day trips to nearby places. One of our favorite memories is the day trip we took to Capri, which included a 3 hour boat ride around the island. Our excursion to Pompeii near Naples was also a highlight due to its compelling history and breathtaking sights.
Travel Tips
Our favorite restaurant turned out to be a last minute choice. There are quite a few restaurants lining the beach, and we picked Restaurant L'Incanto because of its location and menu. We were able to watch the sun set while sipping wine and enjoying mozzarella. Try the risotto with shrimp - best meal I had in Italy! Collina is a great lunch spot, wonderful staff. Most days we walked around aimlessly and stumbled upon hidden shops, and little nooks which offered spectacular views.
