Celebrating 35 Wonderful Years in Paris

Travel Story
We had traveled to Paris to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary five years previously and had such a wonderful time that we knew we wanted to celebrate our 35th in Paris as well. Our favorite spot in Paris is Luxembourg Gardens so we chose to stay close by in the Latin Quarter across the street from the Sorbonne. My favorite memory was attending the opera at Palais Garnier and staring at Marc Chagall's beautiful ceiling all night. We followed it up with drinks at The Ritz. It was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. When we traveled to Paris for our 30th anniversary we had a very special time but we didn't have any good photos of the two of us together afterward. That's why I'm so thankful for Goncalo capturing these photos of us together. I know that we will treasure them always. What a valuable service Flytographer provides!
Travel Tips
These are my top "must-do's" for Paris: Favorite fine dining restaurant - Le Train Bleu in Gare de Lyon train station The renovation of this restaurant is just phenomenal! Go for lunch and book on thefork.com to get a discount. Classical music concert at Sainte-Chapelle. Go to the first concert in the evening while it is still light so you can see the beautiful stained glass windows. The music is magical in this setting. Spend the morning at the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens. If you have children with you (or even if you don't!), catch a marionette show at Theatre du Luxembourg. Pere Lachaise Cemetery - look for the celebrity graves or just wander around and take in the beauty of this place. Favorite jazz clubs- Caveau de la Huchette and Duc des Lombards Favorite market street (especially if you have access to a kitchen) - Rue Mouffetard Favorite splurge - seeing an opera at Palais Garnier. It's my favorite memory of Paris.
