Travel Story
We booked a Flytographer photo shoot for our second trip to Paris. We had visited Paris a few years earlier, but Jenn didn't fall in love with it then because our previous stop was Positano and she had left her heart there. So, for her 28th birthday this past fall, we decided to give Paris another try. This time, we stayed in a charming penthouse just a block away from Notre-Dame and woke up to church bells. We drank wine on our tiny balcony overlooking Parisian rooftops. We took a wine-and-cheese pairing class and dined at a Michelin-starred restaurant set in an 18th-century mansion. The best part, however, was her birthday photo shoot with Olga. Jenn learned that Paris is one of those places you need to visit multiple times to really appreciate. She finally fell in love with it.
Travel Tips
Take a wine-and-cheese pairing class at La Cuisine. If you want to climb to the rooftop of Notre Dame, stand in line as early as possible. See the stained glass windows at Sainte-Chapelle. Go to the Bir-Hakeim bridge for a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower. Book tickets to tour the Palais Garnier theater. For you history buffs, brush up on your 19th century French history and contemplate the complex legacy of Napoleon while visiting his tomb.
