Travel Story
This was my second trip to New York, and it was one of the most memorable trips I have ever taken. Alex and I shared such a fond love for the city that never sleeps. The night we arrived, the city was full of noises, color, and of course the summer humidity. Alex took me to Central Park that evening, and asked me to marry him. Surprised would be an understatement, I am over the hill excited to marry my best friend. We plan to return to the city with our close family to say the "I Do's" and I cannot wait for them to fall in love with this amazing place. Also we look forward to booking another session with Brittany when we return to the city so she can capture our families joy. This trip we stayed in the West Village. If you are a foodie you will enjoy this location. The vibe of this urban playground is very hip, and upbeat. With the world famous Comedy Cellar, where surprise guests such as Aziz Anzari and Dave Chapelle stop in, to Pomme Frites where you can literally get the BEST fries with a million toppings. This location in the city is by far my favorite. You are just minutes from fast paced Midtown, but far enough that you dont hear the noise of the city. This is a gen within Manhattan.
Travel Tips
The most important things I have learned in the city is; 1. Always bring comfy shoes! New York is a walking town, and there is so much to see that you'll want to walk everywhere. 2. If you feel comfortable riding a bike, rent the City Bikes. It is worth every penny, and helps you cover more ground. 3. Don't be intimidated by the people, its New York, everything moves fast I promise they wont bite. 4. With so many boroughs there is always great food available. I suggest making a top 10 list of places you want to stop to eat. You wont be sorry.
