Travel Story

We were excited to travel this summer with my brother-in-law and his family. We live about 9 hours away from each other in the States and don't get so see them very often. We decided to meet up with them in London for a week! Both of our families each have three kids and they all get along great. The cousins were so excited to be together and had the BEST time. After several days of sightseeing and touring London, we met with our Flytographer, Jackie. She captured our week together so beautifully and we couldn't be more happy with the images. The highlights from our trip were seeing the Crown Jewels, the Tower Bridge, the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, Stonehenge, the Harry Potter Studio Tour just to name a few. But most of all, just experiencing this wonderful city together as a family was the best memory of all!

Travel Tips

If you are a Harry Potter fan, then the Harry Potter Studio Tour is a must see! It had the actual sets and props from the movies. My kids LOVED it! It was fun to see Big Ben and Parliament, but since both were under construction we will just have to come back again! If you have Celiac Disease and/or require a gluten-free diet, then I would highly recommend visiting London. My son has Celiac and it was extremely easy for him to eat in London. Many restaurants had lots of options for him and he never got sick! There are so many sights to see right in London, but if you take a couple hour bus ride you can also see Stonehenge which was another favorite memory from our trip. My favorite food while in London were the fish and chips. We went to Leadbelly's Bar & Kitchen since they could make them gluten-free and it was delicious! I also highly recommend Gordon Ramsay's Savoy Grill. It was pricey, but the food was amazing!
