Travel Story
When my husband Del and I were out for dinner at Il Girdano in Vancouver for my 25th birthday, we discovered that celebrity chef Umberto had a cooking school in Tuscany and it was then that we made a pact, when I turned 50, we would celebrate in Tuscany and attend his school. Well, the cooking school has since shut down, but we did celebrate in Tuscany and Flytogopher was there to help capture it! Our time with our photographer Alberto in Florence was magical. He had us kissing, dancing, and laughing for an hour. At one point during the photoshoot, Del whispered in my ear, "you look so beautiful, I love you." And every time I look at the pictures, I remember that moment and get goosebumps all over again.
Travel Tips
Our two favourite experiences, were a private cooking class with an Italian chef, and private walking tour of Florence with local. After that, it's all about eating, drinking, walking, and living life like an Italian!
