Travel Story
We had never been to any of the Nordic countries and wanted to try something different for our vacation. While searching on instagram one day, I came across all of the colorful houses of Copenhagen and had to see them for myself. There were surprises around every corner in the streets of Copenhagen. Because it is summertime, the sun is out from around 4am until almost 11pm at night. We fully took advantage of the incredible weather and made sure we saw every ounce of the city. On our last full day, we decided to rent bikes from our hotel and ride the city as the locals do. This by far was our favorite part of the whole week we were there.
Travel Tips
Highly recommend biking around the city, there is a designated bike lane that you are able to feel safe as you wander around the streets. We really enjoyed all of the food, it was just as colorful as all of the houses! I loved trying the traditional boards at different restaurants. It allows you to try a little bit of everything! Another thing we did on our last day was just spent some time at Kayak Bar where we enjoy one final Spritz along the canal.
