We wanted to celebrate our 5 year anniversary in a new city with both have never been to. Central Europe was the place we picked. Budapest was magical for us. Smaller than a Western EU city but has the wonderful old world charm.
Travel Tips
We are foodies so we did a Michelin 2 star dinner at Onyx. I would highly recommend doing a dinner cruise at night. The buildings on the Danube at night is magical. On your first day, do a tour to get an idea of the city and history and go exploring afterwards. Don't forget to bring your bathers. The hot spring spas are perfect after a long flight or long trip to relax.
