Travel Story

Josh has always dreamed of traveling to Spain and neither of us have been there before, so we decided our honeymoon was the perfect opportunity. For two weeks, we explored Madrid and Barcelona, with smaller day trips to Toledo and Montserrat. Here in this photoshoot, we are exploring the Parc de Ciutadella and the charming El Born neighborhood. Entirely by accident or perhaps kismet, our trip to Barcelona fell during the Festival of Sant Jordi, a day to celebrate romance and books (just a few of our favorite things!). We will never forget the delicious food, drink, the incredible art and culture, and the people we met along the way.

Travel Tips

I don't know if we can recommend just a few things...Definitely visit La Sagrada Familia for a truly unique basilica, explore the neighborhoods of the Gothic Quarter, La Barceloneta, and El Born, shop and eat at La Boqueria Market (or better yet, take the Cook & Taste cooking class that starts with a walk through the market), drink gin at Dux, and eat paella at Can Majo. And of course, if you can brave the cliffs and heights, the views at Montserrat are unparalleled.
