Three Things

  1. For a truly iconic Paris proposal, I recommend Bir-Hakeim Bridge. You get one of the most beautiful views of the Eiffel Tower, elegant Parisian architecture, and several different angles within a very small area. It also works beautifully for photography because I can stay discreetly at a distance and capture the approach, the proposal itself, and the reaction without interrupting the moment. For the best light and fewer people, I always recommend early morning.
  2. If privacy is important, I would avoid the most obvious Eiffel Tower viewpoints and choose a quiet spot along the Seine or one of the smaller streets with a beautiful Paris backdrop. Paris has many places that feel intimate while still giving you that unmistakable sense of being in Paris. I choose the exact location depending on the time of day, season, light, and the atmosphere you want. And whenever possible, I recommend sunrise - having Paris almost to yourselves makes a huge difference.
  3. The most important thing I tell everyone planning a proposal in Paris is: don’t leave the details to chance. A beautiful location is only part of it. Where you stand, which direction your partner is facing, the light, crowds, timing, and even how you arrive can completely change the photographs. I plan these details with you beforehand and give you a very simple plan to follow. Then, when the moment comes, forget about the photographer and focus entirely on your partner. The best proposal photographs happen when you stop thinking about the camera.
