We enjoyed a beautiful dinner at Bennelong inside the Sydney Opera House. It was a extremely romantic Valentines Day Dinner and was one of the best dining experiences of our entire lives.
We thoroughly enjoyed walking around Darling Harbour and trying new foods not easily found where we're from.

So many wonderful places, but our favorite was a little restaurant in the Blue Mountains town of Katoomba called Bowery. Everything was both beautiful and delicious!
Riding the ferry to Manly goes right by the Opera House and Manly beach was nice!
Get a centrally located hotel and use the light rail!
We enjoyed Restaurant Hubert. If you’re in the mood for incredible French cuisine then this is the place to go! The atmosphere was incredible too- it was “old timey” with live music. Would definitely recommend!
Of course Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge! We also room a trip to Bondi Beach and HIGHLY recommend going there. The area is so cute with the shops and the beach. A true beach town!
You need more than 3 days! I wish we were there longer because there is so much to see and impossible to cram it all in 3 days!

We only had a brief layover day in Sydney so didn't explore many places to eat, but our favourite spot we did stop by for lunch was mogo mogo in Coogee beach for poke!
Our Flytographer experience, and then we walked from our shoot location at Malabar Headland National Park up the coast along the oceanside pathways to Coogee Beach stopping in at little bays along the way! Definitely bring your walking shoes!

Walking tour and the Opera house.
I usually book a walking or food tour on our first day and then anything of interest we visit on subsequent days of our stay.
Our favorite restaurant in Sydney was Tottis!! They have the most AMAZING bread! So fluffy, different, and you choose what side items to eat with your bread. It is so chic and non-pretentious. The atmosphere was great!
We LOVED the tour of the Opera House!! The Opera house is a site to see and it's great to hear the history behind it. We also loved going inside the Fish Market where you can pick your live seafood and have them cook it for you!
The Fine Food Store in The Rocks was fantastic. A modern twist on classics, something for everyone, including Gluten Free options. It's off the beaten path in a cobblestone alleyway and provides that historic charm and ambiance you expect from historic towns.
The coastal walk from Bondi to Coogee beach was breathtaking. You can start at either end and stop at all the beaches in between for cafe refreshements and a quick swim to cool off.
Booking a hotel with a pool (not hard to find) was key to beating jet lag and the warm Sydney summer. Taronga Zoo is another winner for the whole family- lots to explore and enjoy!
Make sure to check out the Blue Mountains as a day trip. And the Bondi to Coogie walk is a great activity closer to the city.

JUST GO! Sydney is such an easy city to solo travel in. You can meet people at the beach, bar, or just walking around the harbor. Don’t hesitate to book your next trip here, I promise you won’t be disappointed

Arrange to take Flytographer photos on the actual day of your birthday - it makes it so memorable!
We tried this place called Bills for brunch and loved the ricotta pancakes! We also tried a Sydney staple called Harry’s Cafe De Wheels. They had so many interesting menu items we wanted to try and it was so good!
We saw a musical called Fangirls at the Sydney Opera House which was a great experience. We also walked to Darling Harbor from our hotel which had a ferris wheel we rode, restaurants, shopping, boat tours, and even fireworks in the evening.
There are tours, but we found it to be a great memory of actually seeing a show at the Sydney Opera House. You can also take a water taxi to the Opera House which is pretty cool!
Come to the Northern Beaches and away from the CBD! Manly and Mona Vale Beaches are a must!
Relax and go see everything!

Definitely travel to Australia during their late spring or early summer (November - December). The weather was absolutely perfect! We know many people who have gone during summer in the United States and found the weather to be cold and rainy.

Per the recommendation from Yvonne my flytographer, The Grounds of Alexandria is a beautiful place to have coffee, breakfast, and dessert! I also loved wandering around the Royal Botanic Garden and taking the train around for a quick tour.

Explore the city and learn about the iconic symbols of Sydney. Bike Tours are an amazing way to explore highlights and see different areas of the city. The Harbor "Story" cruise shares the history of how the City was founded and created and show the vastness of the Bay and how the City is sheltered from the Ocean. Tour the Opera House and book a "Bridge Climb" of the Harbor Bridge.
