Cornelia - we found this gem of a cocktail bar by chance. Great cocktails in a whimsical setting. La Pergola bar à Champagne - pricey but amazing drinks in a great atmosphere, tucked right off of the main square. L'Antica Trattoria - amazing restaurant, great food & service, cutest place on the street

What are the best things to do in Sorrento?

Just walking around the street each night and having gelato at Raki was the best. Sorrento has so many cute shops and so many great restaurants.

What is the best tip for celebrating your anniversary in Sorrento?

Take it all in - it's a magical place! We had a private driver that took us around the Amalfi coast, and we were able to visit Positano, Ravello & Pompeii. Highly recommend!

What are the best places to eat and drink in Sorrento?

Our favourite bar was by far the Irish bar chaplins, the staff were absolutely amazing and the whole vibe was just outstanding! Guarracino Sorrento was our favourite that we had to go back for the 2nd time! The best lasagna I think I've ever had and also the staff were lovely and couldn't recommend it anymore

What are the best things to do in Sorrento?

We took scooters up the amali coast and the views were breathtaking! It's a must for anyone travelling as car traffic for a bit hectic near Positano and you can avoid it by scooting on the scooters! Capri was also amazing we done the gardens of augusto and the cable chair was absolutely out of this world

We had two amazing lunches at Ristorante Pizzeria L'Abate, and an incredible seaside dinner at Ristorante Bagni Delfino!

We loved lounging by the pool at our hotel, The Grand Hotel Royal Sorrento, exploring the town and taking the boat ride around Capri!

What is the best tip for going on your honeymoon to Sorrento?

Stay 3 nights so that you're not rushed and can see as much of the Amalfi coast as you'd like while also leaving time to lounge by the pool and rest. If you're considering visiting Pompeii, we decided to book a private car to the train station on our last day and added a private tour of Pompeii on the way so as not to use an entire day visiting and it was the best idea ever! We booked through Mondo Guide.

Ristorante Pizzeria L'Abate had amazing food. The bread, pasta and pizzas were SO good! We went twice while we were there. Highly recommend.

Walking around the city was so easy and great! Including getting a late night pizza was a great experience. We also loved renting a car and being so close to drive out to the Amalfi coast cities.

My favorite restaurant in Sorrento is Inn Bufalito. The food and atmosphere is absolutely incredible and their menu is so thoughtful. We ate there twice on our last visit, we could not get enough!

We went on an amazing private boat tour around Sorrento that was a once in a lifetime experience as well as a snorkeling adventure that was truly so amazing.

Book a special dinner at a restaurant on the water during sunset. We had an amazing tasting menu at a Michelin star restaurant while watching the sunset and the photos and experience was perfect.
