Ammoudi Bay Tavern was lovely! Perfect for a memorable sunset dinner, definitely get reservations in advance. We also loved Karma, in Oia. It was so cute with delicious food. We went for dinner and drinks after sunset and it was one of our favorite places.

Our catamaran cruise was our favorite part of our whole trip. We booked with Spiridakos and we would highly recommend it to anyone going to Santorini. You get so much information and so many beautiful sights of the island that you wouldn't get elsewhere, and our crew was fantastic! Memories made there we'll keep for a lifetime!

Photos were our favorite souvenir. Santorini is incredibly beautiful and romantic, so not much is needed. The crowds can take away from the romantic feel of your trip so be sure to have a plan and reservations in advance so you can try to steer clear of the masses and enjoy every minute of your trip!

My favorite restaurant was Mia’s in Oia. The view of the caldera at night was the most incredible thing to see. Their food was the best we had on our 3 night stay in santorini. Everything was just delicious and we still talk about that dinner until today.

My absolute favorite activity we did in santorini was go to the most miraculous spa, Callisti Couple’s Massage. It was located in Oia. They use the energy from their God of healing and I have never felt so much better after a massage. For the first time in my life I didn’t feel any pain and I felt as light as a feather. It lasted the entire day and for someone with chronic pain that’s a serious miracle. They were so knowledgeable and the room inside was so romantic. They connected my husband and i through sound touch and energy and it was just a beautiful experience. If you want the best massage of your life go to this place and ask for Kelly. She’s a true healer.

What is the best tip for a romantic getaway in Santorini?

This was our honeymoon and boy was it romantic! We stayed at The Saint Hotel and they had private terraces over looking the caldera with private plunge pools. It was impossible to not be the most romantic place on earth. My husband and I still talk about that place daily and can’t wait to plan a trip to return!

Pink Sophia Maria, charming little place on the footpath walking from Fira to Imerovigli. It saved us on a hot day with its delicious home-made lemonade! Also Naoussa restaurant in Fira, the plate throwing was a fun touch for our teenagers!

What are the best places to eat and drink in Santorini?

Lauda offered an exceptional and creative tasting menu with a lovely view of the caldera at sunset. The waitstaff was extraordinarily attentive, from the hostess to the manager to the sommelier to the fleet of table servers. Definitely a high price point but worth it from start to finish! Strogili offered a jaw dropping 360 degree view with shady tables, and is a bit easier on the wallet. The breeze was welcome during our hot June visit to the island, and the menu offered so many good choices, our family visited there twice! Waitstaff was wonderful.

What are the best places to eat and drink in Santorini?

We loved Rastoni in Fira. They had the most amazing views of the caldera and sunset, the best staff! Shout out to Demi who convinced us on our walk around Fira to stop in and enjoy and found us a beautiful table on the third level-even though we had no reservation. We also loved Thalami restaurant in Oia. Great view and even better food! Their Greek salad and rigatoni dish are delish and meant to be shared!

What are the best things to do in Santorini?

We stayed at the Lilium Santorini hotel and can't say enough about it! It was exquisite and had a beautiful pool space right along the caldera, and you could take in a sunset along the poolside, but also wake up and watch the sunrise right outside our door! So we had the best of both worlds. The staff is 10 out of 10. The best breakfast we had anywhere! We also loved taking the sunset catamaran tour! Worth it! And our other favorite thing was just walking everywhere and experiencing the charm of Pyrgos, the shopping vibe of Fira, and the bougie beauty of Oia. We also hiked from our hotel to Imerovigli and while it was challenging with the slick steps and winding inclined pathways, it was a postcard picture every step of the way!

Yacht boat sailing tour! It was so much fun and romantic for my husband and I on our honeymoon. It was beautiful and we got to see the volcano and swim in the sea.

What is the best tip for going on your honeymoon to Santorini?

Go during off season- before May or after September because the island is much more private and less crowded. We heard about how crazy it gets in the summer and we would not have had the same romantic experience if we came in the peak busy season.
