Nestled amidst an urban jungle, Parque Lage, a park in Rio's district of Jardim Botânico, offers a different perspective on one of the world's most iconic sights: the Christ the Redeemer statue atop the Corcovado mountain. The centrepiece of the park is a 19th-century mansion in Roman style. You can capture the elegant facade of the mansion with the Corcovado Hill right behind it. Inside, there are more amazing photo ops by the stunning central reflecting pool with the city's symbol right above. This is Rio at its finest! Note: the best time for photos is between 8 am and 4 pm. There’s no admission fee.
