I am a Texas Longhorn at heart and a transplant to the South Lake Tahoe area, which I have called home since 2006. I am an outgoing, vibrant, and energetic individual which basically means that I’m loud. I laugh - a lot. My photography is rooted in photojournalism with elements of traditional photography. I like photo sessions to be an adventurous, organic, exploratory process. This allows for the client's personality to really shine! Although the bulk of my business comes from wedding and portrait photography, I also do ski & concert photography. I've shot Dave Matthews Band, Janelle Monae and Snoop Dogg!
I'm a former Michigander who has called North Lake Tahoe home since 2011. My photography adventures started with a desire to shoot rock stars, wandered into a photojournalism degree, then took a sharp right at weddings and portraits. I've been published in Paste and XLR8R print magazines as well as Billboard Online, Tahoe Unveiled, Borrowed and Blue, The Knot, and Wedding Wire Blogs.
I'm a fourth generation North Lake Tahoe native with a big, outgoing personality, a love of making people laugh and a bit of flair for the dramatic. After travelling the world running a private photo studio on a cruise line, I've found my happy place in portraits and wedding photography. I pride myself in having an eye for extraordinary detail in the most common of moments and a natural, journalistic style.
Welcome to Reno!
Reno dubbed itself as the "Biggest Little City in the World," and it has done much to live up to its reputation. While Vegas still holds the cards for gambling capital, Reno has a healthy dose of downtown neon and mid-century modern architecture to keep it interesting, and it's close enough to Tahoe to inject a little nature into the trip.
