“ How can I explain our experience...Simply magical! I chose Pierpaolo after looking through his reviews and really liked his style. After booking him we had a lot of discussions over email regarding the proposal plan - where to meet, how to make sure we don't spoil the surprise etc. He was very friendly and helpful and the only thing left was to be at the agreed day and time on the magnificent terrace of the Rufollo villa! After a long journey from where we stayed - Sorrento, some pouring rain, cocktails for courage and missed heartbeats wondering what will be like when "the moment" comes, we finally made it to the entrance of the breathtaking villa Rufolo! I secretly checked my WhatsApp and was glad to find out that Pierpaolo was already waiting for us (about half an hour sooner). I watched some youtube videos beforehand of people walking through the villa so that I know exactly where the terrace is (as well as the toilet so that I can move the ring box out of my backpack to my back pocket). It was really rainy that week so it was only the two of us plus Pierpaolo. Me and my girlfriend took some pictures - this was the signal for Pierpaolo to approach us. When he did, I had to ask him to take some pictures of us with our phone, but surprisingly or not my girlfriend did it for me - and jumped right into the trap! Pierpaolo did a really good job of pretending to be "just someone walking by". I could hardly hold myself not to laugh as he did some jokes about her being very picky about the photos etc. At least this cheered me up in preparation for the big moment. He then gave me back my phone - this was the signal I should act! I returned to my girlfriend and said to her a few words (don't remember the exact ones), then dropped on one knee! Her reaction was priceless! She was very surprised, started shouting if this was really happening and true. We had a great moment and Pierpaolo managed to capture it in the perfect way! During the next hour we explored the gems of the place with Pierpaolo giving us a lot of suggestions for posing, backdrops etc. We showed our photos to so many people and left all of them speechless! He arrived to our shoot early, brought an assistant who helped us, allowed for our children to change outfits, and brought us to some amazing sights to take pictures in Ravello. We have been to Ravello many times and they took us to places we have never seen. They were very nice and open to our ideas too. They took couple photos, family photos and kids only photos. We will use them again while in Southern Italy. ”
