We tried and loved: Parcelles, Frenchie, Halo, Kodawari Ramen (looks like the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo), and Chez Janou (recommended by Mary, our flytographer!).

What are the best places to eat and drink in Paris?

“Bouillon” was a great restaurant, something for everyone including kids. And extremely reasonably priced. We also loved “the New York” for a great view of the Eiffel Tower in the trees. Easy to walk across the street for the perfect view. Food and service was also great.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

Big Bus hop on and off was a great way to see all the things. My entire family loved it (kids aged 10+ too!). Arc de Triomph has the best views. Worth it to go up there vs Eiffel Tower! We loved to wander the less crowded streets and see the local, independent shops vs the very busy souvenir shops that basically all sold the same things.

What is the best tip for travelling with kids to Paris?

Good to know that public washrooms basically don’t exist. You can use them at restaurants if you’re buying something. Most washrooms are TINY and are located in basements, some cost €1/person. Keep that in mind with kids!

What are the best places to eat and drink in Paris?

We have some fabulous meals while in Paris, but our absolute MUST go to again, would be Carette … everything from start to finish was perfect. The table set up, the service and of course the food and drinks were all fabulous and we can’t wait to go back !! Also, it was our fave croissant of our trip !!

What are the best things to do in Paris?

Of course we loved the Eiffel Tower. We went to the top, took macaroons that we bought from the second floor, and had champagne at the top !! The Louvre was an absolute must for us and we hired a tour guide. This was for sure the biggest reason we enjoyed it as much as we did. Our guide was fantastic and shared so many stories and ‘unknown’ facts throughout the tour. We loved listening through the earbuds while looking at the art. It was a real highlight for us ! We went out of the city to Versailles and would go back again, we enjoyed our day so much. We highly recommend taking an entire day for this experience. We rented a golf cart to tour the gardens and we also rented a row boat and went up and down the Grand Canal. LOVED this so much !! The only thing we didn’t do (due to time) was rent bikes and we will for sure go back again and do this !! It was a fabulous day !!

What is the best tip for travelling with kids to Paris?

We didn’t have kids on our trip.

Some of our favorite activities were the Musée d'Orsay, Centre Pompidou, Catacombs of Paris and Montparnasse Cemetery. The City of Lights is so walkable!
