Les Cocottes by Christian Constant was a cute and delicious little restaurant we found one night.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

Musée de l'Orangerie is my favourite museum in Paris! The floor to ceiling Monet Water Lilies are incredible. Musée Marmottan Monet was also a wonderful one.

What is the best tip for a romantic getaway in Paris?

Early morning walks along the Seine are wonderful, of course! It also felt quite romantic to walk along the streets in the evening and pick a little restaurant based on what caught your eye in the moment, rather than strictly following reservations.

Katy's Travel Tips for Paris

What are the best places to eat and drink in Paris?

We really enjoyed a dinner out at Septime. The service was wonderful but the sommelier Nico really made the evening special with perfect pairings. His recommendations included table side anecdotes about the wine makers or why it was special. Highly recommend. The steak au poivre at Cafe Charlot was perfect on a cozy winter evening.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

We enjoyed a visit to Foundation Louis Vuitton. Also watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle from the observation deck at the Centre Pompidou was really special!

What is the best tip for travelling with kids to Paris?

Aim for one activity each day, and allow plenty of time for spontaneity. Paris is filled with lovely parks and playgrounds that are perfect for traveling with kids. Toddlers are VIPs in France--any time we rolled up with a stroller we were whisked through security lines at places like the Louvre, Centre Pompidou, etc.

Sean's Travel Tips for Paris

What are the best places to eat and drink in Paris?

Benoit is an icon of French staples, and we surely enjoyed it. But for a more cost-effective dinner of the same French staples, I'd recommend Le Primerose. Situated a few steps from the Metro stop La Motte - Picquet Grenelle (serving 6, 8, & 10), this simple cafe serves solid renditions of the classics: boeuf bourguignon, cordon bleu, and rack of lamb.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

We enjoyed many of Paris' iconic sights. Perhaps one of our favorite moments was sitting in a cafe, sipping a beverage while local artist, Alan, sketched life-like portraits of both our children on a side street near Sacré-Cœur on the hill of Montmartre. This relatively cheap memento will remind us of our fun on this memorable trip!

What is the best tip for travelling with kids to Paris?

We're by no means experts, but we find great success in truly listening to our kids. having a schedule is great... for adults. But sometimes you've got to skip a museum and head to a playground for some silly time. Not only does it let them re-charge their fun-o-meter, but they also get the chance to meet with children from different parts of the world.

Kim-Marie's Travel Tips for Paris

What are the best places to eat and drink in Paris?

Harry's Bar is a little Americana, but it's where the Bloody Mary was invented, they have the first hot dog maker in France, and Hemingway drank here. So it's a must do.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

Book a private shopping experience at the new La Samaritaine. You get a private chambre, champagne, coffee, tea and macarons. There is no minimum spend, if you buy nothing at all it's just fine. Also, downstairs at Monoprix on the Champs Elysee you'll find the most affordable and beautiful baby and children's clothes. I know it seems shocking, but trust me.

What is your best travel tip for Paris?

Don't rush from site to site, the landmarks aren't Paris. Sitting on a bench in a park and reading a book is Paris. You can see the entire city from the top floor of the Printemps department store for free, and bonus they have a wonderful restaurant up there. Have wine, take a photo of the view and then spend the rest of your time soaking in Paris street by street. Walk everywhere, if you take the Metro you lose the sense of place that is the real reason you came to Paris.
