Doubles Late Night - hands down, best smash burger out there. We actually went back for another round of burgers the last night of our trip because we couldn't stop thinking about them. The bar is such a vibe, there's not a lot of places you can sit at the bar and watch reruns of Baywatch in between the Corona's and tequila shots that are on special.
Eat, walk, drink, repeat. The Scandinavian Spa felt like a hidden gem because it was so quiet when we went. 10/10 recommend on the last day of holidays to rest and reset before going back to real life.
Don't plan too much - there is no shortage of things to do and some of our favourite parts of the trip were happy accidents we stumbled upon wandering around.
Mati (Greek Restaurant). We also loved Joe Beef.
Mont Royal and Bota Bota Spa were highlights.

Le Musso restaurant, where the Chef Antonin and his team introduces each dish and wine pairing to the entire restaurant prior to service. Fresh local ingredients, innovate/creative presentation coupled with friendly and professional service makes the entire experience a memorable and unique one.
Hike up the stairs to the Chateaux Mount Royal, where you will be rewarded with an amazing view of the city.
Denise was an amazing wine bar. It’s a small location but the service was intimate and the food was exciting. We visited Denise on our first night and it set the tone for a fun weekend.
I loved walking around Old Montreal and taking in the city. The architecture is beautiful.
Make your way out to Little Italy and Marché Jean Talon. There are plenty of unique stores, beautiful bars, and calming coffee shops along the way. Get a crepe with salted butter and maple syrup at Marché Jean Talon.

Jacobo (Italian, every meal was a 10) & Auberge Saint Gabriel (the oldest, since 1754)! The venue is BEAUTIFUL!
Old Town! All of it. At Christmas, it was a gorgeous experience!

The Sir George-Etienne Cartier National Historic Site was an unexpected and lovely place. We also enjoyed the Old Port. We had lots of fun ziplining!

Favourite restaurant has got to be Les Enfants Terribles! The food the amazing and it is located on the 44th floor, highest restaurant in Quebec!
There's lots to do in Montreal! I went for a bachelorette trip and did a poke dance class at Milan Pole Dance and that was so fun!

Toque! They had delicious food with an excellent wine pairing. Highly recommend.
We saw the Cirque du Soilel show, Kooza and did a Mural tour through Spade and Palacio Tours. Those were our favorite activities.
The Mile End, where you can find some fantastic food, everything from quick bites to fancy sit-down restaurants.
Hike up Mont Royal, all the way to the lookout chalet or even the iconic cross at the top.
Walk and explore each of the distinct and unique neighborhoods.
Just wander the city-no place will disappoint
Oh my, the delicious food! Spend a couple days in the old port walking around and popping into the shops, restaurants and petit dep. For a glorious relaxation treat, Bota Bota is a must do.

Learn as much French as you can, and wear your walking shoes! While mostly everyone speaks English, knowing a bit of French makes life a lot easier, from navigating the Metro to reading menus.
Definitely visit Old Montréal. And have classic poutine at La Banquise!
Great city to explore, suggest walking/transit rather than driving around. Take advantage of all the great food around the area!
My top travel tip is come to Montreal with an empty stomach. Montreal is full of amazing food and people. This is the perfect city to get out of your comfort zone and try new foods. Montreal is definently a foodie haven. I would say best way to travel is by metro. If you uber/Lyft you'll miss out on seeing the local parks, bars and restaurants that Montreal has to offer.

Our favorite activity was walking. We walked a lot and had the opportunity to find lovely streets, parks, coffees, etc. in Old Montreal, Mile End, Plateau Mont Royal, etc.
Wear comfortable shoes! We stayed near Mount Royal, and climbing the hills at the end of the day was tiring!
Travel tip is to have comfortable lace up walking shoes and please don't forget to hydrate.
