What are the best places to eat and drink in Maui?

Waikiki brewery in Lahaina. Beautiful view of the water to watch the sunset. Food and staff are great! The Thai food truck in Hana. I’d do the whole road to Hana again just for that pad Thai. We also loved the bar at the pool, Umalu, at our resort. We stayed at the Hyatt resort in Kaanapali.

Calypso snorkel tour. 10/10 would recommend. The crew was great and really knowledgeable. Snorkeling was so fun and we saw a bunch of sea turtles.

What is the best tip for going on your honeymoon to Maui?

Tell everyone it’s your honeymoon. People were really nice and sometimes got a shoutout. We had to cancel and reschedule this trip three times due to the pandemic. It made it extra special when we were reminded it was our honeymoon... even after a year and a half of waiting.

Star Noodle. Everything we ate and drank was great. They had some amazing cocktails/mocktailss and fantastic noodles. Make reservations because it fills up fast.

Just walking along the beach was the best part for us.

What is the best tip for going on your babymoon to Maui?

Maui was great for our babymoon. We enjoyed just lounging and looking at the ocean. Getting up and down from laying on the beach was a challenge so I appreciated that our hotel was just off the beach. Sitting by the pool while watching the waves was ideal. My one warning would be: Don't travel TOO close to your due date unless you're blessed with lots of 3rd trimester energy. We were a couple weeks away and the plane ride was uncomfortable all the way there and worse on the way back.

What are the best places to eat and drink in Maui?

We LOVED Monkeypod Kitchen for dinner and drinks, Cinnamon Roll Place for breakfast (so yummy!), and South Maui Fish Company for lunch/fresh fish/something casual! Monkeypod had lots of options and a great environment. Cinnamon Roll Place was so yummy; we would definitely recommend the cinnamon rolls. They are magical and huge! South Maui Fish Company has a lot of hype around it, and it definitely delivered. The freshest fish and a fun spot to explore nearby!

What are the best places to eat and drink in Maui?

Kihei Cafe is great for breakfast/brunch!! Line up can be long but it's pretty fast, we got a table in less than 10min. Food was very yummy and reasonably priced for cafe food. Table was not clean though, had syrup on it but quickly and easily cleaned by staff when brought up as concern. And other downfall, they did not provide water, only water available was $3 a bottle!! Other than these little things, my family and I enjoyed it. Our favourite restaurant though is Monkey Pod in Wailea! Great atmosphere and great food! It is expensive though but it's a nice treat for the family when on vacation. My 15yr old son ordered the steak special for dinner and he cleaned his plate completely! His steak was cooked perfectly just the way he asked for. And dessert was so very delicious!! Monkey Pod cream pies baked fresh daily by them. We tried the dark chocolate ganache cream pie and the blueberry cheesecake, and it did not disappoint!!

Snorkelling was a favourite activity of ours. No need to go to those very expensive boat tours to Molokini to see fish. We snorkelled at Ulua Beach and saw plenty of fish and turtles. Kaanapali is another great place to snorkel and it's also free!

Always have snacks on hand. Food is very expensive when they get hungry!!

We enjoyed Three's very much. The Brussels Sprouts were AMAZING! W also enjoyed Coconuts, Ohana and the food trucks.

We snorkeled on our own and saw some incredible sea life. The Helicopter ride over Maui was spectacular (I recommend this to everyone). We used Maui Air and Vince was our pilot (he was knowledgeable and fun and very attentive checking to see how everyone was doing during the flight).

We always wanted to get back to Maui to show our girls as we Honeymooned there. It was a wonderful experience 30 years later.

Belle Surf Cafe in Paia - lovely space and was large and quiet. A little sanctuary! A'a Roots in Napali - delicious food and all tasted fresh and vibrant Joey's Kitchen in Napali - fun and unique experience, Filipino food, get the Halo-Halo for dessert! Akamai in Wailea/Kihei - love the customer service, food, coffee, outdoor patio seating in Wailea, the best cafe on Maui (in our opinion)

Mama's Fish House is a MUST DO meal while on Maui. Impeccable service. World class views. Rock solid cocktails (try their famous Mai Tai.) The Polynesian ambiance you dreamed about when thinking about Maui. And of couse incredibly, delicious food. 10/10 would recommend.

Get out on the water! We loved our whale watching tour with Blue Water Rafting. Of course the big show was Humpback after Humpback whale, but the crew was full of jokes, a great playlist, and loads of fun zipping around the water. A Maui must-do!

Too many! Best food was Haili Maile in upcountry. It's a but of a drive but the food is delicious and the drinks are even better.

We went on a snorkel trip to Molokini and saw too many whales to count on the way there and back on the Lani Kai II through https://mauisnorkeling.com/. It was a quick trip but a fun excursion for the family.
