There's a frozen waterfall at the back of the Lake Shore trail at the back of Lake Louise. If you are a waterfall chaser, this one is a must! However, it will melt in due time, so you have to time it right!

We didn't eat in Lake Louise but we loved Park Distillery in Banff! The food was really fresh and unique! Highly recommend!
Definitely try to do the dog sledding tour!! It was such an amazing and fun experience and the views were breathtaking!!
Just enjoy yourselves and be in the moment together!! Vacations always fly by but try to really take in all the views and enjoy your company together.

In Banff the best meal we ate was at Sky Bistro...hands down.
Moraine Lake was a family favorite...an easy but BEAUTIFUL hike.

We really enjoyed dinner at Lake Louise Railway Station and Restaurant. The restaurant was so cozy with a roaring fire place. It is set right by the railroad, so trains rush by occasionally. The food was fabulous and they had a wide variety of drinks to choose from. We had the chocolate mousse for dessert and it was SO good!

Check out all of the small towns and side roads! Canmore was our favorite place to grab a local bite to eat, and all of our side adventures where there wasn't a ton of tourists was the absolute best.

We really enjoyed taking a hike through beautiful Johnston Canyon, and seeing the waterfalls (frozen during this time of year).

We rode the Lake Louise Gondola, hoping to see some wild animals. They were scarce, but the view of Lake Louise from the top of the gondola was incredible. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Whitehorn Bistro out on the patio. I'd highly recommend that entire experience. Our sightseeing was cut a bit short due to an injury--my 1-year-old son needed stitches after he fell and busted his forehead open at the top of the gondola. But I can speak very highly of the Lake Louise Medical Clinic! They took excellent care of us.

Arrive to Lake Louise early! Parking can be hard to find. After you hike around the lake, you can also rent a canoe and float on the lake or go inside the Chateau for afternoon tea.
