We loved Tanner's! It was right on the water and had amazing food.
We stayed at the Hyatt right on the ocean and it was absolutely stunning. We loved walking along the beach. We also rented bikes and went down to Newport Beach which was so much fun!

Sugar Shack is where it's at for breakfast, but the food next door at No Ka Oi is bomb too. Don't skip these places because they've been around since the 50s!
We loved the Shorebreak hotel. It's such a cute, boutique hotel with lots of amenities. Don't skip riding a bike up and down the path on the beach. It's "free" therapy!

Dukes because of the location and views. Pacific Hideaway has amazing food!
There is a park on the beach just north of the pier. Pacific Beach is cleaner and less homeless than the HB pier area.
