What is your best overall travel tip for Halifax?

LF Bakery on Gottingen Street is an absolute must! The French pastries are so amazing. If you take the ferry over to Dartmouth, the Good Luck Café has brunch done right.

What is your best overall travel tip for Halifax?

Seeing our pictures, Peggy's cove is a must place to visit in Halifax. The lighthouse, rocks, sunset and view will fascinate you. Crystal Crescent beach is A-mazing. Just listening to the sound of the wave, wind and seeing the blue water and nature around you is unwinding. Don't forget to bring cozy blanket. Eat at Freddie's Fantastic Fish House. Not only they serve fresh seafood but also have the sweetest and nicest staff ever. All smiling, greeting and treating each customers like family. The owner of the restaurant even remembers each customer's names and checks in with us each time. That's genuine and exceptional service! You also got to eat at Bicycle Thief. Lots of good choices on their menu. We even had a hard time choosing what to eat and wanted to try them all. In short, great food and location by the harbour waterfront. Make sure to make reservation because it's always pack. Lastly, since most of Halifax's landmarks and points of interests are within short distances from each other, we would recommend exploring the city by foot. Walk up and down the hilly streets, up the Citadel and the Fort, and back down the Waterfront.
