Keisha's Travel Tips for Grand Canyon

What are the best things to do in Grand Canyon?

On the South Rim of the Grand Canyon you really should check out Desert View point and Lipan Point as well as the view by Yavapai Geology Museum. All of them are great and allow you to really take in the beauty of the Grand Canyon.

What is the best tip for celebrating your birthday in Grand Canyon?

Make time to actually trek out and see the beauty! Embrace aaallll of it! It's such a majestic place and amazing land! Taking in the views at the different points is bare minimum. There is lodging if you don't want to camp out and you'll still get access to gas stations, restaurants, etc. (within reason). Check out Havasu Falls, Grand Canyon village, Hopi Point and the historic Navajo bridge (not even all the things). Rent the right kind of car to take you to all the different spots and try to stay out there for at least 3 days to take in as much as you can. The right kind of shoes will help you trek better as you're moving around. There is just SO MUCH that you can take it to really unplug from the world. 1 day is not enough time. Hoover Dam, Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe bend are good to fit in while you're exploring! Once you're in the park your ticket will last you a whole week. Don't be afraid to go it alone either if you have no travel buddies. It's such a worthwhile experience!
