The streets were completely empty — it felt like we had the whole city to ourselves — and Alanna captured that feeling beautifully. From the moment we met her, she made us feel so comfortable and natural, and the photos show it. She gave us great direction when we needed it, but also let real moments happen. At one point, my husband Dave decided he was the “art director” of the shoot, and Alanna rolled with it, joking the whole time and making it even more fun. The final photos are everything we hoped for — they show both us and the stunning Galway backdrop at their very best, with a natural style that isn’t overly edited. “ Vanessa was extremely easy to communicate with prior to our proposal shoot. I was so very nervous booking an LGBTQ photo shoot in a complete different county (We're from the US and I proposed to my gf in Galway, Ireland). Then, when we arrived at the location and it was not at all what we expected. It was high tide and our cliffs ended up being on private land. But Vanessa quickly pivoted and adapted with us, climbing over rocks and helping us stage amazing shots. Even coming with us to a second location for windless-photography. We ended up LOVING our photos. ”
