The sacred valley tour to see Maras and Moray were incredible and so informative. Additionally, I loved simply walking the streets near the Plaza de Armas to take in the beauty of the city.
1- Give yourself a full day just to enjoy this city without tours booked. It’s a city worth exploring, and you will want a rest day if you have day after day of tours planned. 2- Hire a photographer! This city is a beautiful backdrop for your photos. I can’t wait to hang these pictures on my walls.

Go high and sleep low. Fly into Cusco and then immediately descend and stay somewhere at lower altitude like the sacred valley. Give your body time to acclimatize to the high altitude.

I actually received a tattoo while I was here in Cusco. The tattoo parlor was called Cusco Ink and it was a great little shop and I highly recommend them if anyone wants a tattoo done in Peru.
