It is truly hard to pick the best restaurant in Cinque Terre. All of the locals are amazing and provide warm and family-like atmosphere!! Food is great and we felt like home!
Best thing was to be able to check out the towns with easy by using the train. We also loved the amazing hike in Manarola... simply spectacular!

Maybe it was the hangover, but the cappuccino and focaccia at Da Aristide in Manarola, before the first train of tourists came in, was heaven.
We loved climbing up to the church in Monterosso al Mare.

I would recommend staying in Monterroso because I loved all the quaint little shops and never ending restaurant options, + the beach!

Every town has its own charm, don’t stay in just one! Monterosso has the best beach to lounge out at, Manarola has a great pesto-making class right on the cliffside, and Vernazza has amazing restaurants on the castle!

Book a dinner at Belforte ahead of time, and ask for a table right next to the water! You will never forget it! And, if you're going to be staying there for several nights, go ahead and book it a second time. You will definitely want to go back, we promise!!
Dedicate a whole day to traveling to Corneglia, and take the stairway up.

We highly recommend going to Nessun Dorma in Manarola. It is an outdoor restaurant that has a beautiful view of the town and the sea. They also have great food and drinks.
Bring comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for changes in elevation and terrain. It is a place like no other is is gorgeous. Each town in Cinque Terre has it's own personality. Our favorites were Riomaggiore and Vernazza! The hike from Vernazza to Monterosso is worth it! Do the entire thing! Its gorgeous and a great way to see the area!
Stay in one of the five Cinque Terre towns so that you can see it in the mornings and evenings and get the complete experience. And the best gelato we had in Italy was at Alberto Gelateria in Corniglia.
Buy the train pass for Cinque Terre if you plan on staying at least two days. Also, bring hiking shoes because the views are spectacular. You cannot joke here without proper shoes. It’s literally a law!
Make dinner reservations. The best places to eat fill up fast.
Must do a boat tour, we loved Nico from around Cinque Terre boat tours. He took us to hidden coves along the coast!
Eat breakfast (and lunch and dinner, but definitely breakfast!) at Il Pirata. Fabulous fresh pastries every morning, and the dinner menu is also excellent. Our favorite restaurant hands-down.

Bring shoes you can wear in the water (chaco's or teva's or sperrys). The beaches are gorgeous but pebbly/sharp in some parts. Bring water shoes so you can frolic and enjoy the beach without tearing up your feet. Also - embrace the seafood and try it all!

Go to the bar that’s is on the cliff side overlooking the sea in Manarola. The white wine is delicious and the view is spectacular!

Seafood in Cinque Terre is awesome. Make sure to snack on fresh fried anchovies and calamari offered at many food stands, eat pesto pasta and as much gelato as you can. Also, we highly recommend booking a photographer through Flytographer. You can do all the selfies you want, but having a professional capture romantic moments in some of the best views the world has to offer, it's absolutely worth it.
