Ristorante Tortuga - Michelin rated restaurant with gorgeous views of Monterosso and the sea. The food is amazing! There are few tables and they only take reservations, so book well in advance!

Nessun Dorma Pesto Making Class - Highly Recommend! It is so much fun and takes place at the Nessun Dorma restaurant which has a beautiful view of the town of Manarola. Some of the best pesto that I have ever had. There's also lots of wine! : )

What is the best tip for going on your honeymoon to Cinque Terre?

Book hotels and restaurants in advance! It is worth it to stay in one of the 5 towns versus La Spezia or Levanto. I recommend at least stay 3 or 4 days to really enjoy this beautiful place.

Explore every inch as there's so much to see! Take a boat tour first so you can see the differences between each village from a completely different perspective and therefore have a heads up on what to expect. For example, you'll see from the boat that the hike from the train in Corniglia is quite the trek that you wouldn't know about if you were hiking! Also we saw part of old Monterosso from the boat that we didn't know existed!

Bring comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for changes in elevation and terrain. It is a place like no other is is gorgeous. Each town in Cinque Terre has it's own personality. Our favorites were Riomaggiore and Vernazza! The hike from Vernazza to Monterosso is worth it! Do the entire thing! Its gorgeous and a great way to see the area!

Eat breakfast (and lunch and dinner, but definitely breakfast!) at Il Pirata. Fabulous fresh pastries every morning, and the dinner menu is also excellent. Our favorite restaurant hands-down.

Bring shoes you can wear in the water (chaco's or teva's or sperrys). The beaches are gorgeous but pebbly/sharp in some parts. Bring water shoes so you can frolic and enjoy the beach without tearing up your feet. Also - embrace the seafood and try it all!
