Favorite hotel is Grand Fiesta Americana. Food, beach, kids club, everything was fantastic!

Bring snacks. Plan on grab and go breakfasts if you do tours, since most leave between 7-7:30am. Bring reef friendly sunscreen. Most cenotes require life vests and provide them, but water shoes are a good idea too.

We stayed at Dreams Vista Cancun and had a great experience with food and drinks there so didn't venture too far off resort.
We took a day trip to Isla Mujeres which was fun. Renting a golf cart on the island is a must do!
There are tons of activities to keep kids entertained and busy, the sky is the limit!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Emporio! All of the restaurants and bars at the resort were delicious and conveniently located within the hotel. The swim-up bar at the pool/hot tub was our personal favorite!
Our favorite date night was taking professional photos on the beach with our photographer! We had such a lovely time!
Spend as much time on the beach as you can! The color of the water is just so pretty at all times of day!

El Fogón because it had the BEST authentic tacos. Great prices and drinks. I highly recommend the el pastor tacos and the strawberry margarita (not listed on the menu).
A tour of the Mayan Ruins with Amigo Tours (Chichen Itza English Tour, Buffet Lunch, Cenote,Tequila tasting & Valladolid). It was amazing to learn so much and swim in the CENOTE!!! WE also LOVED renting a private boat with Tulum Charters. We got to snorkel, drink, eat good food, dance to music, and enjoy scenic views as a family.

We booked Happy Shuttle Cancun for round trip transportation from the airport and hotel. It was so easy and inexpensive! And the plus side to it is that it is a private shuttle, so you are not sharing it with anyone!
We did an all-inclusive at Hyatt Ziva. It was everyone's first time as a group of girls to Mexico. We never felt safer! From the pool, food, and all the activities the resort offers, you really wouldn't need to go anywhere else!

Bring your own pool and beach toys and pack twice as much sunscreen as you think you'll need - reapply every hour!

All the restaurants at our resort were wonderful!! We stayed at Estudio Playa Mujeres Family Resort
We stayed at our resort most of the time, but went to Isla Mujeres for a photoshoot. I would like to go back and stay on that island!
Stay at an all-inclusive resort!!! That was the ticket! All food and drinks are included and no limit to what you ordered!! We stayed at Estudio Playa Mujeres Family Resort. They had a kids club that was open 9:30am - 10:30pm and had activities for the kids all throughout the day! You could bring them anytime, and they could stay all day, if you wanted! They even fed lunch and dinner to the kids. Minimum age is 4 yrs, for them to participate in the "babysitting" / Kids Club amenity.

We stayed at Secrets Playa Mujeres Spa & Golf Adults Only Resort. There was a bar on the resort called Rendezvous and they made the BEST Patron Mango Margaritas. I couldn’t put them down!
We took a catamaran cruise over to Isla Mujeres. It was a 7 hour affair. They served cocktails and snacks; played music and took photos. They waited on us hand and foot. We shared the experience with others on the boat. Great time!
Let your resort know it’s your anniversary and they will roll out the red carpet.

Again on Isla Mujeres, Dolphin Discovery was our favorite experience!
Isla Mujeres was.a beautiful island with many family fun activities, such as Kin Hai, Punta Sur, snorkeling, and Dolphin Discovery.

Fred's was incredible! From the welcoming and friendly staff, to the ambience in our private hut surrounded by tropical plants, to the sunset view over the ocean, to the food and drinks. Everything and everyone was incredible.

I stayed at villas del palmar which is an all inclusive hotel and i loved the food there!!
