Don’t try to do it all. Choose a time which works best for your children. Also dress appropriately to protect from the sun.
Skip the camel and horseback rides. In my opinion, the animal welfare situation here is dire. Instead, rent a quad bike to explore the landscape. You’re still supporting the local economy yet sending a clear message that mistreating, abusing or exploiting animals is not okay!
We stayed at the Marriott Mena House resort and it was absolutely beautiful! Right next to the pyramids, so you get extra time to soak in their beautiful view.
