Close to Bari in Italy's Apulia region, the village of Alberobello is as whimsical as it gets, dotted with whitewashed houses with conical roofs dating as far back as the 14th century. Exploring the hilly streets while admiring these quirky buildings feels like stepping into a world of fantasy; the views are even more impressive from one of the many private terraces (just note that you must buy a drink). Longer bookings (60 minutes or more) can also admire Alberobello's beautiful gardens for more photo ops. Note: The best times for photoshoots are around sunrise or sunset.
