Meet Amber in Palm Desert

Three Things

1. I have recently become interested in documenting and journaling EVERYTHING in my life so that I can share my story with people who need to hear they are not alone in this crazy world, with whatever they are experiencing. So with my camera and my pen and paper I create beautiful stories and I share them with YOU (and you and you).
2. I love to cook and to write. I journal every day, and I cook at least 4 times a week. These two things are my favorite way to connect with people - I believe that a great conversation, a beautiful story and a delicious meal will bring strong emotions and lots of smiles to the table.
3. I was born deaf in my right ear so I've had to develop a kind of bionic sense of hearing. I also love to off-road in nature. Traveling in areas around the US that haven't been touched for years excites me. Fun fact, I've driven cross country in 2 days from Arkansas to California by myself - it was a little frightening at times but very liberating and I learned a lot driving 17 hours per day... like: don't stop at sketchy gas stations, pack a lot of snacks, map out your drive according to the weather and be prepared for very flat and long stretches of road with some awesome podcasts or road trip playlists!
