Meet Janine in Ottawa

I love to tell stories, both on film and in real life. I am a chatterbox! I like getting to know my subjects and trying to capture a piece of them. This obviously requires making them feel comfortable, at ease, and most often like we are not in a big high pressure 'photo shoot' situation. I have been featured in several publications and won numerous awards over my 14 year career as a photographer. What I like most about my job is meeting new people, getting travel tips and exercising a bit of creativity.

    Favourite Place to Shoot: It's a tie: Major's Hill Park (with its view of Parliament Hill) and the Byward Market

Three Things

  1. I would live outdoors if I could, so at every possible opportunity my husband and I are outside, running, biking, hiking, swimming, skiing, snowshoeing - anything we can get our hands on really!
  2. I couldn't live without travel. There are so many places in the world to see, and so many people and cultures to learn about. My husband gets worried when I begin bringing home books about a new place... rightly so!
  3. I speak sign language.

What a great experience! We really recommend working with janine. She was very prompt and ready to explore the environment.
