Meet Alanna in Galway

My photography style has always been a mix of candids and portraits, and most of the time, I prefer laughing photos over anything else! I have been a photographer for about 15 years now, and have done countless photo sessions and events. Some of my work has been featured on Style Me Pretty, How They Asked, Mountainside Bride, and Sweet Violet Bride. I was also featured in several Irish news outlets in 2014, when I published a book of Irish landscape images. I love Ireland and would love to show you everything that the charming city of Galway has to offer.

Three Things

  1. As cliche as it is to say here, I love traveling! It's how I found and fell in love with Flytographer in the first place. I launched Galway, Ireland as a Flytographer city back in 2018. Traveling is just amazing- I love taking off, seeing new sites, meeting new people, eating food from different cultures... there's nothing like it. I also love to kayak and hike, and try to do both on my travels.
  2. The one thing I couldn't live without would be my planner. Friends make fun of me because I could just put all my events and reminders into my phone, but there's something so important to me about having a tangible schedule. I used to carry around a full-sized wall calendar in my purse, so as far as I'm concerned, I've come a long way!
  3. I have stayed, not just passed through but stayed, in all 32 counties of Ireland and Northern Ireland. I am currently working my way through visiting all 29 accessible off-shore islands- 10 down, 19 more to go!
