    Favorite Place to Shoot: That’s a tough question; you can’t go wrong anywhere in the Canadian Rockies! Lake Louise at sunrise or sunset is pure magic, chasing dawn light and mirrored peaks across its still waters is a dream every time. Or Lake Minnewanka, it has this creative, quieter vibe and stunning 360° views that make it feel like multiple locations in one. It’s peaceful and endlessly inspiring!

Three Things

  1. When I’m not taking photos, I enjoy quality time with family and friends; outside, rock climbing, hiking, horseback riding, or anything that gets me outdoors and fuels my sense of adventure. 🥾
  2. I cannot live without my adventure & cuddle buddy, Ollie! P.S. He loves to tag along for sessions, with your permission🐾
  3. Some incredible moments I will always remember are; - Tubing through the Waitomo Glowworm Caves in NZ. - Travelling the Ha Giang Motorbike Loop in Vietnam. - Photographing the Aurora Borealis in Banff National Park. - Capturing the"Intertwined Dream", A photograph of my brother & his buddy making fresh snowmobile tracks in the backcountry of Revelstoke, British Columbia.

Darine was amazing to work with! She provided consistent communication with us prior to the session which I really appreciated since I was feeling a bit anxious about the weather. On the day of the shoot, my oldest son was especially energetic, but she handled everything with ease and somehow managed to capture the most beautiful family photos. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to update their family photos and I hope to work with her again in the future!

Darine was amazing to work with and our photos turned out SO stunning! We're thrilled with the results and we've gotten so many compliments on our engagment photos. She made us feel comfortable and gave us fun prompts so that our photos looked natural and fun rather than stiff and posed. Darine was so great to work with! She was kind, patient, easy to communicate with and went out of her way to help our toddler feel comfortable. She got our baby girl running and laughing and dancing and we got the cutest photos to show for it. She knows all the best spots at lake Louise and did great avoiding crowds. Our photos make it look like we’re the only ones there! So impressive. Book her! You will cherish the photos 🩷

Darine is a very nice and lovely photographer. Planning for the proposal with her since day one has been seamless and she does not hesitate to give me her opinion and recommendations. She is also very flexible and open to my ideas for the surprise proposal. She kept the whole session very easy with her clear instructions and gave us encouragement throughout the photoshoot since it was our first professional photoshoot! I highly recommend anyone who is looking to propose in Banff to engage Darine as your photographer!

This was my first time using flytographer and I fell in love with Darine’s photos. Unfortunately she was blocked out the days I was visiting but flytographer was able to ask her if she was available for a shoot and she said yes!! We were so thrilled. It rained during our shoot but she somehow was able to still capture the scenery beautifully. She was so good with our huge group of 8 adults and 7 young kids. It is amazing she was able to get so many photos of the kids all smiling. I could not have asked for a better experience. She got so many photos back to us super fast and every single one was amazing. What a special way to commemorate our group trip to Lake Louise. A+++++++
