We wanted to add a special trip on our way to visit family in England, and Venice sounded like a magical place for our 3 and 5 year old daughters to explore. It did not disappoint! We spent a truly wonderful week exploring the city of Venice and the surrounding Venetian islands. Having these photos to remind us of this magical trip will definitely be something that we will all cherish!
Travel Tips
Venice is such a fun destination for young children! We rented an apartment on the Venice island of Lido, which was such a great decision. Lido is much less busy than Venice, but is so incredibly fun and charming. Our girls loved traveling everywhere by Vaporetto; just traveling between destinations was its own fun water adventure! And we highly recommend visiting the Venetian islands of Murano and Burano. They are SO beautiful and fun to explore!
