We honeymooned in Savannah, GA seven years ago and fell in love with the city. We try to return every year to reminisce about our first time there and to revisit all of our favorite spots. We keep coming back for the special memories and Spanish Moss.
Travel Tips
Though there's plenty to do in the city, we always take a 30 drive outside the town to hike at Skidaway Island State Park. We think that it's such a hidden gem because there are never too many people hiking even though they have the most gorgeous well-maintained trails through the marshlands. All of the trees in the forest are draped in Spanish moss and it's just magical!
