Usually couples go on their honeymoon soon after the wedding, but we delayed ours by six months. So needless to say, when our Hawaii trip finally came upon us, we were beyond excited. Both Dan and I thought of Hawaii as a magical far away place and it was the perfect location for romance and relaxation. Maui gave us some serious honeymoon vibes. From the chill atmosphere, the strong mai tais on the beach to our thrilling doors open helicopter ride..Maui felt like home to us. We can't wait to return with our kids one day and show them this beautiful side of the world.
Travel Tips
We recommend a romantic dinner at Mama's Fish House. We promise it is a meal that you won't forget. A must-do is a doors open helicopter ride, of course and Road to Hana. Make sure you download the Shaka Guide before you embark on the journey. Remeber that--it is a journey not a destination. Take in all the sights, sounds and smells.
