Baby’s First Vacation in LA!

Travel Story
Our trip to Los Angeles was our first vacation since the pandemic, and our first time travelling with our ten-week-old son. We weren’t sure what to expect, but turns out he loves California and was so happy and calm all week…and slept through every night! We hiked Runyon Canyon, explored The Grove and Farmers Market, ventured out to Pasadena, introduced him to friends and even took him on an open-top bus! We booked a photo session with Flytographer to document our family vacation and Michelle picked an amazing (and quiet) spot at Will Rogers State Beach. It was beautiful, even on a cloudy day.
Travel Tips
We stayed in Hollywood which is very touristy but was central for exploring all of LA. Runyon Canyon is a popular and busy hike, but worth it for the great views. El Compadre in Hollywood was a great spot for delicious Mexican food. We were also really glad we spent an afternoon in Pasadena and will definitely visit again - charcuterie board at Agnes and beers at Stone Brewing and The King’s Row were highlights.
