Travel Story
The inspiration for our trip to the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona came from my love for history and architecture; I couldn't resist exploring the ancient streets and soaking in the vibrant culture. My favorite memory has to be wandering through those narrow alleys, discovering charming little squares and stunning buildings that felt like they were straight out of a storybook. The atmosphere was just magical, and it truly felt like we were stepping back in time, making every moment special.
Travel Tips
While the Gothic Quarter has its charm, our absolute favorites were actually Entrepanes Diaz, located in the Eixample district, where we couldn’t get enough of their amazing croquetas and jamón. Their Tinto de Verano was the perfect complement to the meal, refreshing and full of flavor. We also loved the Mercat de Santa Caterina, a local favorite bustling with authentic restaurants and a vibrant atmosphere. I’d pick this market 10 times over the more touristy ones where everyone seems to be snapping Instagram photos. There’s something truly special about immersing ourselves in the local scene!
